...Prune Juice?

Safe, But...

Make sure it is pasteurized!

Prune juice is safe during pregnancy if it is pasteurized. Prunes contain high amounts of Potassium, which according to Livestrong, helps remedy swelling and constipation during pregnancy. WebMD writes that fresh-squeezed juice may not always be pasteurized, which means that harmful bacteria like Salmonella and E. Coli may be present in the juice. Pregnant women should avoid fresh juice without a label stating that it is pasteurized.
